Gold behaves differently through the day. Asia is usually calm, London builds movement, and New York often brings sharp expansion. Focus your trading during active periods instead of forcing trades when the market is quiet.

Gold moves quickly and often uses deeper wicks to collect orders. Stops placed directly on structure are more likely to be triggered before the move develops.

Stops belong beyond structure, not on it. Many wicks clear traders who place stops in obvious positions.

Decide your risk percentage before you open MT5. Use a position size calculator rather than guessing lot sizes with emotion.

Moving your stop to break even too soon can remove you from strong trades before structure confirms the direction.

One loss does not shift the market bias. Trying to win it back immediately usually creates deeper losses.

High impact news can override normal structure and make gold behave in a different way.

Screenshots with short notes help you improve faster than any signal alone. They give you context for every decision.

Frequent errors include trading Asia, using no stop loss, overleveraging and entering impulsively during news spikes.
